This privacy policy sets out how Headway South Bucks uses and protects any information that you give it when you use this website.
Headway South Bucks is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Using the definitions stated in the GDPR, Headway South Bucks is the Data Controller. This means it decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

How do we process your personal data?

Headway South Bucks complies with its obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
Headway South Bucks uses Google Suite for email and network storage and Salesforce.com as its primary database for the personal data that it does store. Each of these systems have their own Privacy policies that we have assessed and deem appropriate and secure for our purposes.

What we collect

Our website has three online application forms that we have designed to capture the following information:

  • name and address
  • contact information including email address
  • other information relevant to joining Headway South Bucks as a client, carer or volunteer

The data you complete is submitted by email to Headway South Bucks Services Manager. The data is not stored within the website.
We require this information to get in contact with you and discuss your interest further. In completing and submitting this form, you are confirming that you have read this Privacy Notice and that you consent to Headway South Bucks processing your personal data for one of these stated purposes

Other Websites

Our website contains links to enable you to visit other carefully selected websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site you should note that we do not have any control over these other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information, which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by the Headway South Bucks Privacy Statement. You should exercise caution and look at the Privacy Statement applicable to the website in question.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Data is not shared with third parties and is most definitely not sold on.

If you believe that any information we have received about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, contact details given below. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Further processing

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Protection Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Where and whenever necessary, we will seek your prior consent to the new processing.
